131 is the fourth studio album by the rock band Emarosa. It was released in 2016 through Hopeless Records. It is the first album to feature rhythm guitarist Matthew Marcellus, who has been touring with the band since 2014. On April 28th, the first and only single Cloud 9 came out with a music video through Hopeless Records, making this the bands first release with the label. After adding Bradley Walden as their new vocalist, and releasing an album that peaked at 61 in the Billboard 200, Emarosa is set to release their 4th studio album titled 131 on July 8th through Hopeless Records. Pretty generic pop rock sound, but these guys definitely have the potential to be something - 131 review: I dont mind where youre going. The remedys the same. With 131, Emarosa prompts you to throw out all expectations that you may have held about them in the past by completely changing their genre. This album is the furthest Emarosa has ever been from Post-Hardcore music, nearly to the point where they can barely be identified as such anymore. 131 instead leans on the band's former influences of traditional blues and soul and mixes it with an alternative rock sound.
