Mike Huckaby - Baseline 87'. Underground Lessons. Mike Huckaby's Baseline '87 has become something of an in-demand record since the initial 10 release sold out back in 2011. It's not hard to see why. A-side Baseline 87', in particular, is one of Huckaby's most potent records - a tough, sweaty chunk of retro-futurist house built around the kind of bassline that's three parts Energy Flash, and two parts LFO. There's more of a straightforward Detroit deep house-meets-Motor City techno vibe to flipside Music For The Dancefloor. It's well produced, subtly. dario93000
Think this 10" sounds a lot better than the re-issue on Synth Records, much livelier and clear.
Repressed on Mike Huckaby's own label S Y N T H.
record is great. but why all the hype...why limit the record so hard so it becomes super expensive after couple of days. what's the point?
A great Detroit house record here. I bought it second hand for 40 euros and it's worth every penny! If you like Mike Huckaby and Sushitech releases you will probably like this... My favorite is the B side, but I have already played both sides in the club and they both sound amazing!
ridicoulous prices....
Can't believe everybody likes this record. Has the limited coloured 10", 1 per person gone through your head and made your ears fall off?? If more than 20 years of house music didn't get us to the point off, been there done that, lets make something beautiful... Somebody should get punished for damaging the environment just releasing this piece of crap
Mike Huckaby knows how to make drums and keys sound good. But he has no clue about melodies or building up a track. Hence another boring record by the man, completely useless for home listening and only good (but, I admit, perhaps it could be VERY good in some hands) DJ tool.

Funny review burpie, made me laugh ha.
Fair :) expensive or not, i think it's a good record. definately above the average release. And the sound really comes out well in the club.
Simple fellow
Not greedy at all..Just not selling..Maybe i get over it and play it when i'm old..
i would like to buy it. if you're not a greedy guy buying just for money. pm me if you wanna sell it
The MDR/V700 still work fine
Q: Who buys a record without listening to it first and then bashes it on discogs?A: A douche.
Okay we are all entitled to an opinion but not sure how you can justify your comments. Compared to all the shit house music that gets churned out everyday this stands out a mile above. The A side is okay but quite average I would agree. The B side is far superior, sublime deep house. I think you should get a new set of headphones?
Not. worth. 40. Euros. ever.
I actualy own the record, so no sour grapes here. Bought it  juno without listening to the samples, then felt realy dissapointed when i got it and played it at home..
Sounds like someone didn't manage to grab a copy, sour grapes. Anyways, making such a statement wihlst listening yearningly to the samples on doesn't really give your judgement much weight. This record made people go ballistic in the club last weekend. It was a really good match for this one: (which is not ltd.).I reckon it's worth 40€ easily and it will go up in price. so grab a copy while you still can, even if it seems pricy...
I hate good new releases that are super limited and soon become grossly over-priced. This practice is fucking annoying.
So annoying.
Not only does this record sound amazing but it looks amazing too.
Pre-ordered and I cannot wait for it to turn up in the post. "Muzik For The Dancefloor" is the cut that stands out for me.
Not only does this record sound amazing but it looks amazing too. This ones going up on my wall
