Album

The White Room is the fourth and final studio album by British electronic music group The KLF, released in March 1991. Originally scheduled for 1989 as the soundtrack to a film of the same name, the album's direction was changed after both the film and the original soundtrack LP were cancelled. Most tracks on the original album version are present in the final release, though in significantly remixed form. 1991 uk 9 track cd album, tracks include: 3am, last train, church of the klf, no more tears, what time is love, justified and ancient JAMSCD 006. The Japanese version follows the US format, with the single version of 'Last Train To Trancentral' replaced by the 12 version of that mix. No More Tears. Justified And Ancient. Издания 139. The White Room is a fitting if somewhat short epitaph that stands the test of time. Its futuristic musical themes are somewhat silly, but genuine musicianship makes the songs themselves quality fun. The KLF -the White Room CD Album With Bonus Justified Ancient Tracks. Brand new: lowest price. The White Room is, to a large extent, The KLF playing safe. Anyone whose introduction to the JAMMS-Disco 2000-Timelords-KLF saga was via the stadium house reworking of What Time Is Love last year, will be ever so pleased with this remarkably strong and cohesive LP. Tim Nicholson, Record Mirror, 2 Mar 1991 Album Of The Week. In essence, The White Room is a neat summation of Drummond and Cautys colourful history it embraces their previous JAMs-related guises while still updating the Kopyright Liberation Fronts corporate identity. Anthony Farthing, Sounds, 2 Mar 1991. In many ways,. The song originally appeared on The KLF's album The White Room, which was released in March 1991. Sung by reggae musician Black Steel it ends the album. In November 1991, the single Justified & Ancient Stand by The JAMs was released, featuring the lead vocals of The First Lady of Country - Tammy Wynette. The subtitle Stand By The JAMs, doubles as a nod to Wynette's hit Stand By Your Man and KLF's earlier incarnation, The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu. For Sale : I'm pretty sure they were only having a laugh making this. Good for them, but tough on anybody who tries to listen to it. If you really want to test your endurance, tackle the second CD - anyone who can get through two tracks deserves respect. Apart from the nostalgia value, The White Room/Justified and Ancient was a waste of money and remains a continuing waste of shelf space. I put the nostalgia value at about 50p - any takers ?
