The Secret World tour saw Peter and his band play more than 150 shows around the world during 1993 and 1994. The concert was filmed across two nights 16 & 17 November 1993 at the Palasport Nuovo in Modena, Italy and was directed by François Girard. Secret World Live is the second live album and tenth album overall by the English rock musician Peter Gabriel, released in 1994. The album was not remastered with the rest of Gabriel's catalogue in 2002. A concert film was released at the same time as the album. Its track listing is the same as the album, save that it omits Red Rain and adds San Jacinto 7:32 after Blood of Eden, In 2019, a re-release of the album on music streaming platforms re-inserted San Jacinto into the set list. In Your Eyes Secret World Live was recorded over two nights in Modena, in northern Italy, during the 1993 Secret World Live tour. The collection spans Peters solo career until that point from debut single 'Solsbury Hill' up to 'Digging In The Dirt&. Peter Gabriel's second double-disc live album doesn't have the energy of Plays Live, which isn't surprising his newer material is more subtle and doesn't easily lend itself to live performances. That's part of the reason why the Secret World tour was filled with cutting-edge visuals and stage effects.
