Candiria biography US outfit CANDIRIA was formed in 1992, consisting of Carley Coma vocals, Chris Puma guitars, Eric Matthews guitars, Mike Holt bass and Kenneth Schalk drums. They aimed at creating unusual music from the very start, incorporating barks and rap-like vocals, jazz- inspired rhythm guitar textures and polyrythmic drumming. Their debut as recording artists came in 1995, with the single Deep in the Mental quickly followed by their first full length effort Surrealistic Madness. Their record label refused to issue the finished album as well. All of these events stopped the progress of Candiria's career pretty effectively
