Watanabe Wataru is a mangaka most well-known for his sports manga Yowamushi Pedal. The series has been running since 2008, and its anime adaptation began airing in 2013. Another one of Watanabe's works, Magimoji Rurumo, was adapted into an anime that aired in July of 2014. He has also penned a few other manga, mostly of the shounen comedy variety.
