Swaggerjack is the duo of label head Callum Higgins and John Powell-Jones. With two albums to date both released on Sacred Tapes, Swaggerjack are currently the second act to be taking part in the Samarbeta music residency series. Both members of Swaggerjack record and perform as solo acts, Higgins as Yes Blythe and John Powell-Jones under his own name. The crossover set was originally conceived for an event at an exhibition of Powell-Jones Illustration work and encompasses a seamless progression from one act to the other. After a number of cassette releases on Sacred Tapes they were invited by Samarbeta to be the second artists in residence in their ongoing series of musical residences.
