Dedicated to Peter Kürten is the fourth album by Whitehouse released in 1981 by Come Organisation later reissued by Susan Lawly. The album is known as by its full title, Dedicated to Peter Kürten Sadist and Mass Slayer. Whitehouse continues to use the new-found elements of their third album, Erector. Just as the previous, Dedicated to Peter Kürten is much as a fan favorite and just as influential. The album cover features the image of the serial killer Peter Kürten, who has an instrumental track. Whitehouses fourth studio album, sometimes known by its full name Dedicated to Peter Kürten Sadist and Mass Slayer. As the name suggests, this album is dedicated to the infamous serial killer, Peter Kürten, and the album is considered a turning point for the band as it was in this album when they started obsessing with serial killers and their psychology, later explored more thoroughly on their next effort and Psycopathia Sexualis.
