Wand's 2nd LP Golem. The Orchard Music от лица компании In The Red BMI - Broadcast Music Inc. UMPI и другие авторские общества 6. Listen free to Wand Golem The Unexplored Map, Self Hypnosis In 3 Days and more. 9 tracks 36:27. Following up their debut full-length on Ty Segalls God label, Wand presents their second album, Golem, on In The Red records. Recording with Chris Woodhouse at his Hanger studio in Sacramento, Wand summons the dark and heavy power of the riff. Back in September 2013, Wand was quietly dismembered and ritually eaten in the hills near Dodger Stadium. Wand was reborn as Wand -an obese organ falsely organized as four overjoyous nerds. Four flesh balloons betting on a few aging amplifiers. Wand - Golem 2015. To favorites 1 Download album. Listen album. Indie Rock Psychedelic Rock. Songs in album Wand - Golem 2015. Unlike Ganglion Reef, which sometimes got lost in its own astrological meanderings, Golem sets its sights squarely on the more visceral pleasures of psychedelia. In a sense, it picks up right where its predecessor left off, wedged between a whisper and a roar. Opener The Unexplored Map begins with a riff that borrows equally from shoegaze and stoner metal its the heaviest Wand has sounded in its young history and a sign that the bands musical universe continues to expand outward from its sugary psychedelic core. Golem, the second full-length from Los Angeles-based psych-rock quartet Wand, draws from the old-school progpsych sourcebook, but the songs often wander away from the script in a way that. The Drift Following up their debut full-length on Ty Segalls God label, Wand presents their second album, Golem, on In The Red. Wand was reborn as Wand -an obese organ falsely organized as four. Their second record, 2015's Golem, cuts out anything folky, paves over some of the fragile psych weirdness, and instead piles on the heavy, heavy noise, stomping into protoplasmic Black Sabbath territory at times. Tracks like the pummeling Self Hypnosis in 3 Days and the heavily phased Cave In sound like they were lifted directly from the set of a band that might have opened for Sabbath in 1970. Planet Golem, too, delves deeply into some dirge metal, with weird synths and riffs brutal enough to knock out a stegosaurus
