Sessions for the album, Had I The Heavens, began in June 1995 at the Elephant studios in Wapping, London and completed later that summer at the Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire. Sadly,Elephant studios were later demolished and back in 1999, Chipping Norton studios closed down. Originally a private house before being enlarged in 1854 as a grammar school, the building is now in part being used as a dental practice.
