The International Tchaikovsky Competition is one of the major events in the international music community. It is held once every four years. The main purpose of the musical competition is revealing new talent. The first, in 1958, included two categories piano and violin. Beginning with the second competition, in 1962, a cello category was added, and the vocal division was introduced during the third competition in 1966. In 1990, a fifth category was announced for the IX International Tchaikovsky Competition a contest for violin makers which was held before the main competition. Brass Instruments. In 2009 won the 1st prize at the VI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. She also won the 1st prize and Audience Award at the Cooper International Competition in 2011. That same year she was named the first Artist-in-Residence of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Winner of various competitions, such as the Pablo Casals International Cello Competition 2014 and the III André Navarra International Cello Competition. He was also a prize-winner at the VI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. The International Tchaikovsky Competition is a classical music competition held every four years in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russia, for pianists, violinists, and cellists between 16 and 32 years of age and singers between 19 and 32 years of age.
