Originally released in 2013 in the form of a highly limited number of cassettes, The Lost Tapes Record Club second outing continued the pace set on EP-1 with a library rooted indie but with EP-2 the group's sounds added a slightly darker edge to the radiophonic beats 'n' bobs. We'd say it's the label's winter release, with frostbite icicles raining down around the drum hits throughout, and non more evident than on Harriet Pullman Interlude. Without a doubt though this is possibly the best entry to the series, carrying a strong Folklore Tapes vibe that transmits through to the artwork that's design is by Folklore label head honcho David Chatton Barker. The Lost Tapes Record Club is a project curated by Brian Campbell & Carl Turney from the band Clinic. It is the sequel to the compilation album The Lost Tapes, released in 2002.
