UK imprint Fear Of Flying got so much acclaim for dusting off and reissuing classic house jam "Champagne Dancer" by Schatrax that's it's little surprise that they've returned for a second bite. This time it's Josh Brent's previously unreleased "Get it Right" that gets a richly deserved vinyl pressing, with a raw analogue thump grinding deep below and a twangy riff and barley-there vocal sample. The other half of the A Side is occupied by Romanian duo Egal 3 who drop some decidedly dusty business in the shape of "Siclam". FOF head honcho BLM shares the flip with Nyra, with the cavernous depths of "Meadow Loves Mowgli" complementing the bouncy chords and rasping hats of "Casturize". As good as the accompanying three tracks are, this 12" is all about Schatrax.

Get It Right is the twenty-ninth studio album by American singer Aretha Franklin, released in 1983. It was produced by Luther Vandross, following his successful teaming with the singer for the Gold-certified album, Jump to It, in 1982. Get It Right was not as commercially successful, and Franklin did not have Vandross produce any further albums. And Aretha herself seems to be coasting this time out, unable or unwilling to transcend mediocre material as she has done so many times in the past. Two cuts on the album stand out. The zippy Every Girl Wants My Guy swings hard and, unlike Get It Right, captures the sass of Jump to It, especially during the phone rap in the middle.
