This concert recording is a different affair: from the light and cheery Sandy Land to narrative pieces like John Law Burned Down the Liquor Sto', the listener gets a better glimpse of the breadth and versatility of the amazing series of artists that Burnett lined up for the project. In the process, it provides another excellent tribute to popular American music. Live album by some of the artists from O Brother where art thou. Little disappointed that some of the songs are in fact indentical to the original film album which is great but generally a good live addition to your Blue Grass collection.
