Bringing It All Back Home known as Subterranean Homesick Blues in some European countries is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. It was released on March 22, 1965, by Columbia Records. The album features an electric half of songs, followed by a mostly acoustic half, while abandoning the protest music of Dylan's previous records in favor of more surreal, complex lyrics. When Bob Dylan entered Columbia Records Studio A in mid-January 1965 and blew out an 11-song LP in three days, he didnt merely go electric, invent folk rock and transition from an acoustic troubadour to a boundary-pushing rock & roller. On January 13th, 1965, the first day of sessions for the album, Dylan recorded solo and entirely acoustic, just as he always had, with a guitar, harmonica and piano. This album was the game changer as it merged to dominant genres together giving the music industry a breath of fresh air and the encouragement to experiment. On the same note I would argue that this was the spark that lit the whole musical revolution of the sixties as it undoubtedly influenced The Beatles' Rubber Soul which was the first non rock n' roll album for them, which led to the release of Revolver, that giving inspiration to the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds and this giving the influence the create .
