It's about my relatives, the farm, the sea, trains and train stations, and other things. I took ideas about repetition and combined them with my experiences from the trip, and ended up with what to me is a very personal album. Two other tracks, 'Held' and 'Escape', were written for a collaborative work between Pamela Tzeng, Jenna Swift and myself called 'What is More&. Repetitions is an album by Calgary based experimental musician Krzysztof Sujata, who records under the name Valiska. The album began as a series of looping piano improvisations and developed to explore the concept of repetition in terms of both music and composition. The inspiration was drawn largely from the impressions and memories of a trip the artist took with his mother and brother to his native Poland last summer . Krzysztof Sujata has been making experimental music as Valiska since 2010. Drawing inspiration from the tension between the city Reflection by Valiska from desktop or your mobile device.
