The Debt is a public art project commissioned by the Ballymun Regeneration Ltd. art commissioning program, Breaking Ground and was funded through Ireland's Department of the Environment and the Per Cent for Art Scheme. In this project, Ultra-red presented a series of collective reflections in Dublin and Los Angeles. Through public performances, talks, and radio broadcasts, The Debt brought together residents from the public housing communities of Ballymun in Dublin and LA's Pico Aliso.

It was released on August 23, 2011, by DGC Records, which serves as Game's first release under the label. Recording sessions for the album took place from 2009 to 2011 at four different recording studios in California. In addition to these groups, a number of artists have entered into tactical and provisional alliances with Ultra-red for purposes of specific and on-going cooperation. Some of these artists include Eddie Peel of Sony Mao and Needle, Elliot Perkins fka Phonem, Terre Thaemlitz, and others. Ultra-red documented the Battle of Seattle, a global mobilization against the World Trade Organization as it attempted to strong-arm countries into free trade deals that would increase poverty, worker exploitation, environmental devastation, and climate crisis. The recordings were then used to compose an EP of electroacoustic soundscapes and minimal techno for use by activists to shut down the streets with rave-blockades. The Red is the debut studio album by South Korean girl group Red Velvet. It was released on September 9, 2015 by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music, marking their second proper release in 2015 following the debut extended play Ice Cream Cake in March 2015.
