If they had, the results would have sounded an awful lot like Two Cow Garage's The Wall Against Our Back, and that's intended as a compliment to both bands. Recorded in appropriately garage-like conditions by Slobberbone's Brent Best who infuses the proceedings with the same ragged-but-right feel as his own band, the Columbus-based trio blasts out 13 songs that toy with grunge-era softLOUD dynamics at a thrashing pace. Their second album, The Wall Against Our Back, came out in 2004 to considerable critical acclaim, and the group's tour was recorded by John Boston and released as a documentary, The Long Way Around: One Badass Year With Two Cow Garage. A third album, III, was released in 2007 and followed by Speaking In Cursive in September 2008. Harigle left the band on tour in 2007 drummer Cody Smith and keyboard player Andy Schell joined for Speaking In Cursive, which was released on the Colorado-based Suburban Home Records label. They actually made a DVD of their year touring and then recording this album, The Long Way Around by John Boston. Lots of great songs on this album and not a bad one in the bunch.
