Den of Thieves is the second full-length album by Canadian rock band The Trews. It was released in 2005 on Epic Records, and peaked at number 6 on the Canadian Albums Chart. The first single from this album was So She's Leaving, and it was followed by Yearning, Poor Ol' Broken Hearted Me and I Can't Say. The album was certified Gold 50,000 copies by the CRIA in January 2006. All songs by Sean Dalton, Colin MacDonald, John-Angus MacDonald, Jack Syperek unless otherwise noted. With legendary producer Jack Douglas at the helm, it's perhaps not surprising that the Canadian quartet the Trews emerge as a combination of Aerosmith's melodic hard rock, Cheap Trick's thumping power pop, and Alice Cooper's tough glam - all acts Douglas has done exemplary work with in the past. Already a well-known outfit in Canada, the band's sophomore effort is the first to receive a wider i. release, which is natural since the group's sound is prototypically American. This song is an ok first song to this album. The song may get annoying from the same sort of annoying chorus but after the first chorus there is a very cool solo. I rate this song 3. 2- Makin' Sunshine. This song is a very good new song that the trews have come up with. It has a good guitar and the drum beat is pretty solid.
