Renegade is the eleventh studio album by Irish band Thin Lizzy, released in 1981. As such, he made a contribution as a songwriter on the opening track Angel of Death. The bands new guitarist, Snowy White, still wasnt fitting comfortably into the fold. So producer Chris Tsangarides over-emphasized Darren Whartons keyboard parts, resulting in a mix thats more synth-heavy than any other Thin Lizzy album. But Renegade isn't without its charms, and decades later, much of this recording has aged amazingly well. The six-minute Angel of Death opens it sounds like the score for an early-'80s science fiction movie before Scott Gorha. Renegade is the eleventh studio album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy.
