The Union is the eponymous debut album by The Union, the English rock band formed by ex-Thunder guitarist Luke Morley and Peter Shoulder formerly of Winterville. It was released on 23 August 2010 and features, on a bonus DVD, the band's first concert, at the Garage in London from December 2009. BBC reviewed the album on 8 August, calling it a collaboration which benefits from a perfect pairing of youth and experience and noting that it could well be the album of their collective careers. The Union is the debut album by Canadian rock band The Glorious Sons. Released on September 14, 2014, The Union contains the singles Heavy, Lightning and The Contender, which led to a 2015 Juno Award nomination for Best Rock Album. The Contender.
