Notes

Recorded over four days initially at S. Beckett's house in Wolverton, October 2005. With vocals in the cupboard, the living room and the fridge. Percussion on tea chests and the sound of a chainsaw from the Graveyard.

Reworked and remixed for five days upstairs at Taylors Bar, Watford, April 2006.

Additional work recorded at D. Neale's house and M. Gear's loft sporadically from April 2006.

The Straw Bear Band' have a magpie nature. Lyrically mixing folklore, myth, history and fiction. Musically they're just as eclectic. Ranging from delicate acoustic song to scratchy electronica, ending up like a Joe Meek production of Tim Buckley. Recently their sound has taken another turn, and live they create a kind of 'medieval Krautrock' or 'garage-folk'.
