Thank You for Loving Me is a song by Bon Jovi. Written by Jon Bon Jovi, Steve Mac and Wayne Hector, it was released in 2000 as the third single from their Grammy-nominated album Crush. In an interview on Top of the Pops 2, Jon revealed the title of the song was inspired by actor Brad Pitt's character in the film Meet Joe Black. The song is a love ballad in the style of previous Bon Jovi hit songs such as Always and Bed of Roses. The Sapphires were a vocal trio from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and comprised of Carol Jackson lead vocalist, George Gainer and Joe Livingston. Signed to the Swan record label by producer Jerry Ross, the trio's first single releases were on that imprint. Their first single release was entitled 'Where Is Johnny Now' bw 'Your True Love'. Their follow up song was entitled 'Who Do You Love', a song that made the pop charts, peaking at number 25 in 1964. Reached 106 on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart. This deserved a better fate.
