Live at Tipitina's 1982 is a two-CD set that gathers both the two released albums from the Neville Brothers September 1982 gigs at local New Orleans hangout Tipitina's - 1984's Nevillization ILive at Tipitina's and 1987's Nevillization II: Live at Tipitina's - and strives to roll them into one complete, concise work. The only problem is that although the albums were similarly recorded, they were eventually released under different circumstances: the second part was augmented with studio-sweetened instruments and audience noises, and at times the overdubs are gl. This track was omitted when Rhino reissued the album as part of its Live at Tipitina's 1982 2-cd debut album The Neville Brothers was released in 1978 on Capitol Records. In 1987, the group released Uptown on the EMI label, featuring guests including Branford Marsalis, Keith Richards, and Carlos Santana. The following year saw the release of Yellow Moon from A&M Records produced by Daniel Lanois.
