It is a concept album conceived as a radio interview. Three of the tracks integrate brief interview sections which were staged in the studio. The title song has lyrics derived from the type of question and answer dialogue they had encountered while talking to the music press. This album was critically and commercially less successful than their previous album Free Hand. Amid the plethora of Jam compilations and anthologies issued, the arrival of a full BBC sessions collection was long overdue. The remainder of the set is devoted to 1981, a sessioninterview dominated by the unabashed nostalgia of Absolute Beginners and reinforced by a note-perfect rendition of Sweet Soul Music and a near-Christmas fan club concert that rounds up the best of the band's most recent hits, and peaks with a positively fiery version of the funk workout Precious. It was with Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder for a metal magazine called . originally an acronym for Metal Events Around Toronto that covered such acts as Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Metallica and more.
