Beginning in 1944 with the death of bass vocalist Hoppy Jones, this quartet's line-up was in a constant state of flux. During the 1950s and '60s there were more than one group calling themselves the Ink. They and the Mills Brothers another black vocal group of the same period, gained much acceptance in the white community. Their songs usually began with a guitar riff using the chords I - idim - ii7 - V7 followed by the tenor, who sang the whole song through. After the tenor finished singing, the bass would either recite the. Lp Cover Cover Art Vinyl Poster Vinyl Art The Ink Spots Vintage Records Album Design Abstract Shapes Simple Shapes.
