Touch Sensitive is the debut solo studio album by Bruce Foxton. It was originally released in 1984, on the record label Arista. Two tracks, It Makes Me Wonder and Trying To Forget You Vocal Mix were co-written by Foxton and Pete Glenister. In March of the same year, fellow Jam counterpart Paul Weller released his first official studio album with the band the Style Council, titled Café Bleu. The album was notably his last recording. The seven-minute dance mix of Touch Sensitive adds absolutely nothing to the song's merits, though. In fact, one can only hope that the dance mix clichés used to lengthen the song are being employed ironically. The one permanent fixture amidst the Fall's ever-changing line-up was Mark E. Smith 1957 2018. Smith's lyrics are free, unboxed and unpredictable, touching on an extremely wide range of subjects and places, and caring little for being tied down to easily digestible messages.
