Notes
While "guitar-centric" music was never part of Metaphysical Circuits' grand plan, we've still, gladly, found ourselves issuing the odd six-string benchmark (Dura, cryptic scenery, uBiK) the past few years. Here's another – undeniably different from the aforementioned – courtesy of The End Springs, the UK-based solo guise of first-take-best-take instrumental acid folk specialist Stephen Kent.
"The Colour of Brown" ranges from slow motion acoustic strum meditations to delicately melodic electrified conversations, floating over (reed) beds of animated psych/drone. Things get epic-like 'eavy and amped up on side B!
Limited to 20 copies wyrldwyde.

In the End is the eighth and final studio album by Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries, released on 26 April 2019 by BMG. It is the bands first release since the death of singer Dolores O'Riordan, whose vocals are featured posthumously. The surviving instrumentalists pieced together her demos with in-studio recordings over the course of the subsequent year and worked with long-time producer Stephen Street to finalise the album. Critical reception has been positive. The Colour of Spring is the third studio album by English band Talk Talk, released in March 1986. Musically, The Colour of Spring was a major step away from the synthesised pop of early Talk Talk, with a greater focus on guitars, pianos, and organs on such songs as Life's What You Make It, Living in Another World and Give It Up. It had a sound described by the band as much more organic than their earlier records, with the improvisation that was to dominate on their later works already apparent. The album was nearly finished when Mick Fleetwood pulled Nicks out into the parking lot of the Record Plant, the Sausalito, California, studio where much of the album had been recorded. I knew it was really serious cause Mick never asks you to go out to the parking lot for anything, Nicks recalled in a 1991 BBC radio interview. It was there that Fleetwood revealed that Silver Springs had been cut from the album for being too long and a lot of reasons, according to Nicks. Fleetwood wanted the lighter I Dont Want to Know on the album instead, a track on which she and her ex-boy. The Springs. Husband & wife duo originally from Alabama. Learn more at . A Zac Brown Band collaboration with EDM producers divided fans even before Brown immediately followed it with an official pop solo album. Nominally country, the album often throbs to electronic rhythms and is slathered in synths, to the point where even a funky blues number like Me and the Boys in the Band is polished so it could be considered pop. Unlike so many pop moves from country artists, The Owl is executed cleverly, never renouncing the core elements of the Zac Brown Band But the fact that a good chunk of the numbers work does not erase how deeply strange this album is. Directed by Richard Stanley. With Nicolas Cage, Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Elliot Knight.
