With arrangements by Anderson who contributed six of the nine tunes and on two songs Ernie Wilkins, the all-star big band has plenty of opportunities to blow even if only one piece exceeds four minutes. One of Williams's more famous works and his personal favorite, the play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955.
