We had been rehearsing these songs and others that would eventually appear on our debut album for the better part of a year before they were committed to record. Still in grad school, David was itching to put his studies in Music Technology to good use and get a good quality recording of our work up until that point. While not quite as polished as what would come a little later, this EP captures the sou. Act Your Age is a song by Australian hip hop trio Bliss N Eso. It was released as the fourth single from their fifth studio album Circus in the Sky. The single was released through Illusive Sounds on 16 August 2013. The song peaked at 31 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified gold, making it Bliss N Eso's fifth gold single. The song contains a sample of Act Yr Age by Bluejuice. The song's message is to not worry about acting your age, just have fun. Act Your Age' finished at 67 on the 2013. The tracks on Act Your Age are the first studio recordings of The Above. Act Your Age was our way to get in people's ears. Instead of selling the EP, we used it as a promotional item to give to friends and potential tastemakers on the scene in order to reach a wider audience. If you have a physical copy of this CD, it was because we either knew and liked you or you were someone who we respected enough to get what we were all about.
