Album
Plagiarism is the 17th album by American rock band Sparks. It is a tribute album of sorts featuring new alternate versions of some of their best known songs. Plagiarism was not successful across Europe like its predecessor Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins, and did not chart significantly in any territory. The first single from the album, The Number One Song in Heaven, included the vocals of Jimmy. Sparks are double genius with silver wings, and Plagiarism is more HERE and NOW that you would imagine. Living legends. Plagiarism: Album Produced by Ron Mael and Russell Mael Track 13 Produced by Ron Mael, Russell Mael, and Erasure Tracks 10 and 16 Produced by Ron Mael, Russell Mael, and Faith No More Orchestral and choral arrangements by Tony Visconti. Recorded at CTS Studios, London, and Sparks Studio, Los Angeles Mixed at Sparks Studio by John Thomas, except Track 12 recorded and mixed by Russell Mael Track 4 :Guitar by Dean Menta Track 8 :Additional production by Eskimos and Egypt and Mark Stagg.
