When I first opened the album I was thrilled to see a six page cover insert with photos of the Spandau gang from their early teen years and an intriguing band biography. The tracks Gold' and True' are my favorite tracks because they have a smooth glowing glam-pop sound bursting with Kemp's retro-whining vocal style which is indicative of the early 80's. At time of writing this is the best sounding Spandau Ballet single disc compilation. As an added bonus it also includes a dvd with a generous helping of their classic promo films. In addition to their best-known 80's hits True, Only When You Leave, Musclebound, Through the Barricades, The Story is updated with their 2009 single Once More from the reunion album of the same name. Hardcore fans will likely already own most of these tracks, though it is a worthy introduction to the London-based new romantics, demonstrating all the style and might that made them stars three decades prior
