All tracks were recorded and mixed live in August 1993 at Bob's Magic Carpet Warehouse next to The Horses Knackers Yard in Woolston Christchurch... Except for Regi Flute which was recorded live at The Dux De Lux March 19th 1993... And We The Dub Yore which was recorded in 1994.

Back in 1993 we couldn't afford a sampler so we hot wired and old guitar on/off pedal directly into the motor of a sharp cassette player so we could trigger the cassette deck with our feet. Mark found a bunch of old Mutant Ninja Turtles cassettes in a dumpster at the back of Echo Records and we spent many nights recording over these repeating the same sample over and over again in real time. One interesting effect of wiring into the motor was that the cassette would speed up and slow down as the tape deck was turned on and off. Unfortunately we were unable to find the original DAT masters of these recordings so to produce this CD our faithful engineer David Wernham has tidied up versions recovered off old cassette copies... so please feel free to tweak your stereos!!
