Album

Rush was a Canadian progressive rock band originally formed in August 1968, in the Willowdale neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario. For the overwhelming majority of its existence, the band has consisted of bassist, keyboardist, and lead vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. The band achieved this definitive form when Neil Peart replaced original drummer, John Rutsey, in July 1974. May 1978. Tour Dates. Archives is a compilation album by Rush, released in April 1978. The compilation was a complete repackaging of the band's first three albums Rush, Fly by Night and Caress of Steel. Originally released with a faded grey cover, it was later repackaged with a darker, black cover. The minimalist cover art recycles the image of the Man in the Star from the 2112 album. On the original, vinyl Fly By Night album, the chimes at the end of By-Tor and the Snow Dog were printed into the fadeout groove of side one. Although Archives has never officially been released on CD, it managed simultaneous gold and platinum certification in the U. in 1995. Track listing. From Rush . Rush Archives. RUSH ARCHIVES is a Tribute to Rush a power trio from Colorado paying tribute to the greatest band on the planet. Rush Archives wants to wish Fernando our Alex a VERY Happy birthday today Without his humor shown here and work ethic the band would not have begun much less continued on through the years. 2112 is the 4th studio album by RUSH. It was released on April 1, 1976. Happy 44th anniversary . Archives is a triple LP set of Rush's first three releases: Rush, Fly By Night and Caress of Steel. While Archives was never released on CD, it has been referred to as a collector's item from Rush. Instead, many fans have made their own CD versions of this collection. Added by: Unknown user. Review by Queen By-Tor SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Honorary Collaborator. Having added my 2 cents about every STUDIO Rush album, I figured it was time to move onto the live and compilation albums of my favorite artist, those amazing Canadians, Rush. So here we go. Archives: This was a budget package released for the band in the late 70s, it contains the first three studios albums Rush, Fly By Night , and Caress Of Steel . Sensing that new fans were probably unaware of Rush's first three less commercially successful albums 1973's self-titled debut, 1974's FLY BY NIGHT, and 1975's CARESS OF STEEL, Rush's label at the time, Mercury, re-issued all three in the box set ARCHIVES. On its debut album, the trio apes Led Zeppelin musically, lyrically, and most obviously vocally, as original drummer John Rutsey makes his only appearance on a Rush album. Tracks like Finding My Way and Working Man remain fan favorites to this day. Band Name Rush. Album Name Archives. Type Compilation. 发布日期 四月 1978. DISC 1: Rush. Finding My Way. Need Some Love
