This is a great album, musically retaining the feel of Fields of the Nephilim but with clearer more melodic vocals and lyrics. Crazed and Watch without Pain are clear highlights. If it weren't for the shadow of Goth and Fields of The Nephilim Rubicon would have had more success and built up their own following. A great shame they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Room 101 was released on Beggars Banquet in 1995. It was produced, engineered and mixed by Richard James Burgess under the pseudonym Caleb Kadesh. The album featured the single Insatiable. For sure it's less gothic and more straight rock but that is what is good about it. My favorite song on this one. I hesitate pretty much between Watch without pain and Unspoken
