ROSS Since, 1997, Ross has been in the background of the westcoast canadian techno scene, particularly the Victoria family that included Mathew Jonson, Cobblestone Jazz, The Mole, and Hrdvsion. In 1998, he released the now out-of-print compilation album ôGarden City Dubs, that featured first material by Mathew Jonson, and Cobblestone Jazz. He left for California in æ98, but kept his finger on the pulse as the art director for Itiswhatitis Recordings. While in the Bay Area, he listened mostly to soul,rap and early american techno music. YOUNG FLORENT Florent moved to Vancouver from Switzerland to attend art school. He began to get into making techno.
