It was self-released on 18 February 2011 as a download, followed by a physical release on 28 March through XL Recordings internationally and TBD Records in North America. Admittedly, Im speculating wildly here, but hasnt that always been an easy thing to do with Radiohead The band is still important and were still destined to care because the music they make is still vital. And that's not to say that it doesn't ripple with the dazzling sonics or scenery that have become the band's stock in trade, but just that, unlike so many of their milestones, there's no abiding sense of a band defying all expectations in order to establish new precedents
