It's very enjoyable and showcases some real musicianship, but if you're looking for that old-timey Something in the Water sound, this is a little divergent. Its far more organic than any of the prefab productions that dominate the airwaves these days. The backing horns and sprightly pacing keep the music sounding effortless and bewitching, a traditional approach thats been part of LaFarge and his namesake bands signature sound. Read full review
