Released in 1985, CONTACT was the Pointer Sisters follow-up to their hugely successful album BREAK OUT, which introduced the sisters to a younger generation of radio listeners like myself, and became an instant favorite of mine. According to the liner notes, many of the song writers that contributed to the success of Break Out were called back to work on this album and even though there's extensive use of drumsynthesizer machines on some tracks, it doesn't sound dated at all - listening to it today
