The ultrafunk band Parliament used to have a 1,200-pound spaceship stage prop called the Mothership. A major highlight of Parliament's concerts was the lowering of the Mothership onto the stage. Then frontman George Clinton - the Star Child - emerged. The Mothership is in the Smithsonian's hands now. In this picture, I drew the Mothership along with a Star Child I found in anime: Shima, from Stellvia. Shima is attending a school in outer space, where she's learning to pilot space ships.
