As Painwork were preparing their first EP of doom and goth rock tunes à la Sisters Of Mercy, the idea came up to be unfashionable and release something once known as "split EP"s.
And so, Pÿlon added three of their current stoner rock tunes, two of which are also featured on Heavy rendez vous Vol.II and Nighthawk Compilation vol. 1.

Pÿlon have released their 2nd album, Th' Eternal Wedding Band, on Quam Libet Records in September 2006. It contains twelve tracks and the music video for 2046. Despite the seeming abundance of singing, whispering, growling and chanting voices, no less than four tracks on the album are instrumentals or lyric-less at the least.
