Notes

This release is the first pressing and acknowledged as a mispress.
Mistakes include:
1-2 is similar to the 7" edit version, but the repeated "Te-te-te..." before the first chorus are missing.
1-6 is an apparent alternate version to the album version
2-5 was supposed to be 'Wrappup' as listed on release. The album track 'All Wrapped Up' which is already on CD1 plays instead.
2-8 is the second part of the original full 12" version, the one that includes a dub version as a separate intro.

Tracks 2-11 to 2-15 are previously unreleased.

Universal Music issued a replacement disc for CD Two weeks after the initial release. Sent out by mail upon request.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark is the self-titled debut album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1980. It peaked at number 27 in the UK Albums Chart. Electricity and Red FrameWhite Light were released as singles a re-recorded version of Messages provided OMD with their first hit in the UK, reaching number 13. Junk Culture. Smarting from Dazzle Ships' commercial failure, the band had a bit of a rethink when it came to their fifth album - happily, the end result showed that the group was still firing on all fours. While very much a pop-oriented album and a clear retreat from the exploratory reaches of previous work, Junk Culture was no sacrifice of ideals in pursuit of cash. Listen free to Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark Junk Culture Junk Culture, Tesla Girls and more. 10 tracks 42:14. This was a pretty bizarre addition to the Junk Culture album and made even more so by the fact that they released a Spanish promo 7 of it as well which I have . The song is just some random noise elements similar to some of the tracks off of 1983's Dazzle Ships album. Why its listed here as a 1-off single I dont know as it was given away free with the first 5000 copies of Junk Culture. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark OMD are an English electronic band formed in Wirral, Merseyside in 1978. OMD released their debut single, Electricity, in 1979, and gained popularity

(( Universal Music issued a replacement disc sent out by mail upon request. )) Sadly not true for me, I sent two letters in the mail to Virgin/UMC, with all the necessary proof that I purchased their 'Deluxe' product (while it was quite new), and my letters and subsequent e-mails were thoroughly ignored. I was never sent a replacement CD2. UMC's inability to even faithfully reproduce the album properly on Disc 1 has also left a stench surrounding the whole proceedings.

Supposedly two of the tracks on the main disc are incorrect, inexcusableMore info here:http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/universal-to-repress-omd-deluxe-cd/#more-110232

The song “Locomotion” (track 3, CD 1) has a “volume” problem. The song appears as if faded in, and in the first 20 seconds or so you can hear the mastering engineer raising the volume level while the song is playing.Add this to the rest of the complaints for this CD and you wonder – didn’t someone from Quality Control PLAY the damn CDs before they went to press?Paying a year’s salary to an extra employee to play the CDs and verify volume levels as well as quality of sound is way cheaper than to pay to have these CDs remastered, replaced and shipped, not to mention facing the anger of the fans and the embarrassment to the company.
