This is NO MORE In 1981, the German band landed the underground hit-single SUICIDE COMMANDO, which spread internationally like a virus regardless of genre and scene. Whether in New York's Limelight, at the Love Parade in Berlin or on the soundtrack to the graffiti train writers movie Dirty Handz: SUICIDE COMMANDO was played everywhere and reached a status that made the title feasible for prominent remixers. The song Suicide Commando released in 1981 and not to be confused with the Belgian band Suicide Commando, who named themselves after that song is the band's biggest success. The New Musical Express described Suicide Commando as suitable German electro fashion but the song spread in the following years internationally regardless of genre and scene. In the 1990s the song entered the Techno- and Electroscene, when it was remixed by DJ Hell and Echopark Moguai & Torsten Stenzel. Suicide Commando is a Belgian electro-industrial music act created by Johan Van Roy in 1986. For live shows, it consists of Van Roy himself on vocals, Torben Schmidt on keyboards, and Mario Vaerewijck on drums. Van Roy began experimenting with electronic music back in 1986. Two years later he released his first tape under the moniker Suicide Commando, and his track appeared on the vinyl compilation Electronic.
