This album consists of music commissioned for, as well as music provoked by one of contemporary dance's most noted luminaries, French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. Performed by the esteemed Ballet Preljocaj, the 90 minute piece was inspired by classical literary work, The Thousand and One Nights.

Les Nuits is a music album by Natacha Atlas & Samy Bashai released in 2013. Strange Days is a 2019 jazz album by Belgian singer Natacha Atlas. The album is recorded in English and Arabic. Singers Joss Stone and Sofiane Saïdi are featured on the album. Musicians performing on Strange Days include trumpeter Hayden Powell, pianist Alcyona Mick, drummer Asaf Sirkis, Idris Rahman, and cellist Ivan Hussey. Her co-writer is the Egyptian-born violinist, pianist and programmer Samy Bishai, and the result is an atmospheric, varied set that constantly switches direction. There are sections of cool, moody vocals matched against electronic effects and strings throbbing electronics and a dash of Bollywood on Camel Driver, which provides a reminder of her work with Transglobal Underground and lyrical, jazz-edged song.
