Led by Janne Lehtinen, they are currently working on their 5th album. Mummypowder are a 5-piece formed in Helsinki in 1995, centered by the singersongwriter Janne Lehtinen. The album was released in Japan in 2006, followed by a mini tour in Japan. The 4th album Centuries Later was released in May 2011. The Blackout Day movement is in its infancy and it hasn't caught on with every Black American. Even though some African-Americans won't spend money Tuesday, others will only patronize Black-owned businesses and some will ignore the call altogether. The phrase Blackout Day first surfaced in 2015 on Tumblr as an effort to showcase Black artists and creators and combat negative stereotypes Black people have endured.
