Warsaw producer Michal Wolski has released with label Blank Slate before, turning in four tracks of flickering techno last year on Blank Slate 008. Midnight Train, the opener on follow-up Blank Slate 011, is generously fleshed-out by comparison, with a thick rush of pads around its chiming melody and soft-thudding kicks. Magnitude returns to a minimal style, but its spare pulse is no less satisfying and alien. No Mind matches the grind of a stalling engine with high-energy percussion, and Eightfold Path, a dramatic piece that moves through severa. Michal Wolski returns to Blank Slate to deliver another EP.
