Album

A Certain Trigger is the debut studio album by English indie rock band Maxïmo Park. It was released on 16 May 2005 through Warp. The title for the album comes from the song Once, a Glimpse. The songs The Coast Is Always Changing, Apply Some Pressure, Graffiti, Going Missing and I Want You to Stay were released as singles. The censored version of Apply Some Pressure was used on the soundtracks of the video games Burnout Revenge and SSX on Tour. An instrumental version of Going Missing. While Maxïmo Park might be relative latecomers to the post-punknew wave revival, their debut album, A Certain Trigger, stakes out their own distinctive territory within that sound. Sonically speaking, the Newcastle band's mix of wiry guitars, sharply punctuated rhythms, and atmospheric keyboards is nothing new, even when compared to their fellow revivalists. What makes Maxïmo Park, and A Certain Trigger, special is the way the band captures the joys and frustrations of being young and cooped up in a small town - they're bittersweet, angry, thoughtful, and funny, often within the co. A Certain Trigger Maxïmo Park. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Maxïmo Certain Trigger, the band's debut full-length, is rife with enough peripatetic song structures and lithe arpeggios to convince substance-questioning naysayers of the Newcastle quintet's musical smarts. But, to an extent, yes, they're bandwagon-riders, and latecomers at that. The New Wave revival has already dined out on the charts. That civility translates to a sort of sneakiness. Maxïmo Park's muted dynamics, understated vocals, and starchy production stack up to a weak first impression. But over the course of a slow'n'steady courtship, the album develops character. The tug comes partly from deceptively complicated song structures. Maxïmo Park : A Certain Trigger,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. A Certain Trigger is the debut album of Newcastle-based Post-punk revival band Maxïmo Park. It was released on 16 May 2005, on Warp Records. It was critically acclaimed and nominated for the 2005 Mercury Prize in August of that year. Apply Some Pressure was also featured on the soundtracks of the video games Burnout Revenge and SSX on Tour. Maxïmo Park Format: Audio CD. That pattern follows throughout the album, relying on a rough rock mentality tempered with lots of keyboard. Sometimes they err on the side of gritty bass, and sometimes the songs rest on a bed of fuzzy electronics and bouncy guitars. But they all have two things in common: Dancey rhythms, and a new wave edge
