ARGERICH, Martha. Lugano Concertos. Deutsche Grammophon. 4 CDs. That wonderful annual summer festival in Lugano titled Progetto Martha Argerich, displays the great Argentine pianist in her full range of musical facets along with her famous or not musical friends. On those occasions, Martha Argerich plays not only chamber jewels or very seldom, solo works, but also some concertos old and new to her repertoire. These four discs gather ten complete concertos recorded between 1997 and 2009 for EMI. As an artist as well-known for her loyalty to particular repertoire and particular musicians, most of these works have been recorded by Argerich multiple times. Prokofiev's Concerto No. 3, one of the first concertos she ever recorded, is here in a 1997 performance with conductor Charles Dutoit, one of her best collaborators. The two recorded both Chopin concertos the following year, also included. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Martha Argerich. Martha Argerich. Lugano Concertos I CD, RE. Продать эту версию. Born in Buenos Aires, Martha Argerich was enrolled for piano study at the age of five by her mother, with piano teacher Vincenzo Scaramuzza. He stressed lyricism and feeling. When the sound is empty, he said to her, it sounds like a pair of pants. Martha Argerich - Lugano Concertos. Together let's celebrate Martha's artistry and humanity. This page is run by two friends of Marthas, and she isn't formally. But aside from the the violin sonatas, cello sonatas, a couple piano sonatas, and the first three concertos, Beethoven has not been a regular in her repertoire. Only one could speculate. According to pianist Gabriele Baldocci, Martha Argerich and Claudio Abbado met in Vienna as fellow-pianists in Friedrich Guldas class. After Martha won the 1965 Chopin competition, Deutsche Grammophon asked her to record one of the concertos. Who would she like to conduct Claudio, she said.
