Otto Von Wernherr born Ottheinrich Werner, Heidelberg, Germany is a German singer. He is best known for working on some of his songs with singer-songwriter Madonna before her solo career. In 1981, due to financial difficulties, Madonna did backing vocals on three songs with von Wernherr: Cosmic Climb, We Are the Gods, and Wild Dancing. After Madonna became known, von Wernherr reworked the songs, leaving the backing vocals more evident, and re-released them with Madonna's photo on the cover. Let's Go Dancing. Aber löst man sich von der Vorstellung,dass hier ein Madonna-Projekt vorliegt und geht unvoreingenommen an die Scheibe heran,kann sie durchaus erwartet einen ein relativ abgedrehtes Danceprojekt vor allem was die Backgroundvocals anbelangtmit typischem 80er Jahre Sound und einer Leadsängerstimme,die eher spricht als singt und so eher an Projekte wie Rocky Horror Picture Show erinnert.
