He has worked with such different artists as Phillip Glass, The Rolling Stones, Barry White, Nina Hagen, Per Nørgård, Abba, Terry Riley, Frank Zappa and 'Det Kongelige Kapel'. He was a member of the Danish national icon-group Shu-Bi-Dua from 1981 through their albums no. 8, 9 and 10.
